4 Students COVID-19 POSITIVE AT BROADMEADOW
Updated: Feb 15

Date: 2/11/21
Dear Parents/Guardians:
We have become aware that four students in your student’s school, Broadmeadow, have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The last time the COVID-19 positive students were in the school setting while possibly contagious was January 29. 2021 and February 2, 2021. The health department has determined that no contact tracing was necessary because the last date of student attendance was so long ago. The purpose of this letter is to keep all parents informed.
All areas of the building and/or classroom potentially impacted are being cleaned and disinfected in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and IDPH. In light of the positive COVID-19 case, we ask that you do continue to daily monitor your student for symptoms and complete temperature checks. As a reminder, always keep your student at home if they are ill for any reason and contact your school nurse immediately.
If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing cooperation with our COVID-19 prevention policies and procedures as we work together to keep our students, staff, and families safe and healthy.
Sincerely,
Amy Blomberg
Principal
Broadmeadow Elementary
